Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, everyone! I thought a lot about my dad and Jorge today.

Jorge puts our family before everything else, and I'm glad that we have a day to celebrate him and show him how much we love and appreciate him.

We had a fun, super-packed day. I made crepes for the first time this morning, while Jorge and Elena hung out in the front yard.

After eating breakfast (it was good!) we went to church. I have to say that Elena Rose does so well during the service! She doesn't want to be left in the toddler room, so she goes in with us. And she just sits through the entire service, eats a few snacks, and she's fine. After church we came home for her to nap, and when she woke up we went out to lunch. From there we went to Gymboree (a playgym for little ones) so that she could dance, play, run around, and climb her little heart out. When we got home she and Jorge spent some time outside, then we all walked to the park (which she calls the "weeee!") together. By the time we got home, it was her bedtime.

It was a good day.
