These kids keep us busy. Sometimes at night they'll run laps around us, yelling and jumping and going crazy. It's usually soon before bedtime. But then they settle down and are pretty willing to go to bed.
They love playing together, no matter what they're doing. Here Elena's putting dress-up stuff on Samuel.
And these magnet tiles are awesome. Both kids play with them every single day. They build little towns, beds, homes, cars, obstacle courses, etc.
This might be one of my favorite pictures ever. Samuel got hurt and started crying, and when I turned around Elena was comforting him.
Here they're playing with rice. This is one of those activities that we only do when Daddy's working, because it would drive him crazy.

When Elena's at school I try to keep this little guy amused, since his favorite playmate isn't home.

It's nice to get alone time with Elena. Here she's at a drop-in ballet lesson/activity.
I took her to her friend's birthday party. She was so excited to get her face painted.
Elena loves to wear dresses with her hair down and fancy shoes. Here she wanted both her Frozen sparkly shoes and her play shoes in the picture.
And she's such a sweetheart. During her quiet time she plays with her dollhouse, looks at books, and dresses up.
These kids keep me so busy that I forget I'm 6 months pregnant right now. This pregnancy has been flying by; there's just not a lot of time to think about it. When I got into labor, it'll hit me. I actually think Elena thinks about it more than anyone, and she is going to love having a little sister.
