Christmas morning the kids opened their gifts at my mom's and played with their new toys. Elena got a Snow White doll, a Jessie from Toy Story doll, and some dress up stuff. Samuel got a car tower toy, a tool set, a fire truck, and a remote control car. After we were all ready we headed off to my dad's to visit with him and my nieces. Then we had dinner at my mom's.
Samuel really liked my mom's dog, and he was surprisingly gentle.

This was a fun picture because Elena had the blanket in mid-air, throwing it onto Samuel.
These came out blurry but I love them anyway. I always love shots that I get where Jorge has big smiles. It's hard to do.
And it's never easy to get pictures with the kids, with them both looking at the camera and smiling, but here's an attempt.
Samuel didn't last very long.
Then add more kids and it gets even more difficult! We had fun with Amy, Philip, and their kids, and April and Destiny. So here's my mom with her 3 daughters and grandkids.
And now with her two sons-in-law.
It was a nice Christmas, and nice to be around so much family. Then the next day we met my friend Heidi for breakfast, who I haven't seen in years. So nice to catch up with one of my best friends.
We have so much to be thankful for!
